How is everyone today? Asura.Ina said: » All right... these bug things freak me out though. Reminds me of the Legion from Demon souls. Its not cheating! Blighttown swamp sucks :/ Watch the giant bolder dudes at the end too or they will *** your ***up fast Seems to be research day, I'm looking up sources for the earliest evidence of homo sapiens, my friend is having a religious debate with these guys that claim humans were put on Earth by God 6000 years ago and nothing before then. They are happy to refer to historical stone tablets that provide archaeological evidence for the bible but they won't accept bone remains, fossils or the discoveries of tools that have all been dated using the same methods as those used to date the stone tablets that show humans to have been around longer than 6000 years -.-

Found Oldest Galaxy Wiki on the Milky Way IMO - I read the universe is believed to be 13.75 billion years old. It's believed that the Milky Way Galaxy is 13.2 billion years old. It was said we found the oldest currently known galaxy at 13.2 billion light years away. So if we have one point that is the same age as distance to another, but measured by light years for light moves faster than matter. ~and both are suppose to be close to when the Big Bang happened. Read that it was possible the universe during the big bang had everything shot out faster than the speed of light and is still expanding. Don't know, guessing I am not suppose to understand this. All I know, this McRib AD that pops up here because people keep mention McDonald's is pissing me off. LOL. And so far, there's hope someone will buy Hostess and start making Twinkies again. When the Milky Way (and the other galaxy) were created they were most likely closer together but as the universe expands, so does the distance between galaxies. This expansion is exponential so the distance just grows larger and larger. This is why the oldest one and ours (which is extremely far away from it) have relatively close ages. This is how I understand it, it may be wrong though. If it is, feel free to correct it. Quote: The distances between the spinning galaxies increase with time, but the distances between the stars within each galaxy stay roughly the same, due to their gravitational interactions. I guess what I am thinking of is this: We say a red ball is red but that is because of what colors are absorb and what is reflected. We hear sounds because of vibrations made with resistence. If we say that light travels to us and that's how we observe it, can we catch a glimpse of light that is moving away also? Somewhere out there, if the big bang happened, in the vacuum of space there shouldn't be sound, but can we chase down light that is moving away if it's reflected by gases in space? volkom said: » According to several theories about the universe, the universe is infinitely expanding but it's slows down but will never stop. Galaxies will spread apart but will stay somewhat close to the galaxies in their cluster due to the immense gravity. Meanwhile half the stuff in the universe on a grand scale is explained with Einstein's general theory of relativity. While on the micro scale, quantum mechanics explains .... Fake Swede!

Yeah, 65 million years ago, sounds like a cluster fudge to me. Apparently animals and everything else roamed the Earth but humans did not until God put them here. I always liked her goofy hat

No doubt that will be the answer we will get when we present our argument. It's black and white for me though, either you believe in the authenticity of the stone tablets AND human fossils/tools etc, or you believe in neither. They can't say one is real and one is not when the technology used to date them is the same. |
