Of course, not that I had expectations of sympathy. At the very least there was input, which is appreciated nevertheless.
What Narshe said isn't wrong because most people don't wanna hang out with someone emo but at least you can work on changing that. Try some of Ina's suggestions, maybe it will cheer you up and you won't feel lonely again (for a while at least) since you'll have something else to think about. It seems like you do spend too much time in your head and not enough time doing stuff.

I wasn't necessarily dismissing Narshe's suggestion, but merely noting that it isn't always a practical solution. In my instance, it would be a bit more alienating as my own viewpoint would perceive that as something superficial or based on creating a convenient illusion.
But alas, don't mistaken my conversation starter to be a plea for attention or creating viable solutions to one's psyche, but rather something to talk about and gain various input on. Though I can see how that fell short due to being an undesirable aspect for conversation in virtually every respect.
