Honestly, super smooth lineart isn't particularly important. Outside professional tier work and school anyway. Some of my favorite works have fairly messy lineart. I feel it adds a bit of charm to a piece of art. And I've had a few friends comment on my messy lineart looking better for my style than clean lineart.

Example:

I hate lineart with a passion..thats generally why I dont..

I enjoy lineart for the most part now that I've stopped focusing on making it super clean.

I really wish I were good at the painting aspect of a colored pictured though. And textureing. uuuuuughjiaohfgo'dmuabdp;n, I can't texture at all. :<

Yes! That stabilizer is fantastic! Zoomed out -> drew the line -> zoomed back in -> perfectly smooth.
Now Ohji has wonderfully smooth legs~ :Q

I have photoshop but I'm still attached to Open Canvas..its a super oldie with features not nearly as cool or advanced as photoshop or paint sai but I've used it for years and years. I just love its water color brush..


although me insisting on using a single layer for everything I'm sure needs an intervention.
