This would make Kalilla the most hit on person on AH due to looking like Rukia, it would make Leon a worringly young looking Elvaan, Dracondria a rasping Bear and me an Orange Fox... I think I win, because I can fly! I'm both purple and adorable *works my purple magic* heck yeah cant sleeps -,-

Odin.Eikechi said: » You guys aren't pissed they are stretching it out into so many movies? ***sickens me >_< Absolutely not. I love that they are :\ It means more movies in the future. I'm not sure why I'm talking like this either. I expected The Hobbit
Odin.Minefield said: » I expected The Hobbit No, I mean breaking the Hobbit up into 3 damn movies >_< Eh, dem cliffhangers.
WRY U DO DIS TO MEH The hobbit cartoon in the 1970's ran about 90m if I remember correctly. You could essentially DOUBLE the content of that movie, and still fit it into the time frame of 1 LoTR movies. So why make 3 LoTR size movies? It seems like they are intentionally branching off into too many side stories, simply for money. I guess that's what a capitalist system does, and you make money where ya can, but ***...
To me it's just more detail.
I love details, and if more of the details are filled in the better it is for me. I loved the books, I loved reading the hobbit. I'm so glad that I'll be able to experience the world again in a year. I guess I'm different though, but that's how I feel about it. I don't like movies that rush the details. I love to be overwhelmed by them, I love to see 50,000 things that didn't have to be in the movie but they did it anyways because that is what they love doing. I don't expect the hobbit movies to be as detailed as LoTR, I expect his quality to slip some, but I know 300% that I'll love it anyways. I welcome 3 movies because I don't want them to leave things out because they have to keep the movie a certain length.

You can DOUBLE the content of that great cartoon from the 70's. DOUBLE the content. Yet they are going for 6x the content. Seems rather unnecessary and stretched thin. I was told the other movies are going to entail a ton more of what Gandolf was doing, but to me, that's not "The Hobbit", ya know?
