Wasn't my favorite job, nor my first pick when I first started the game. I intended to main DRG when I started, but wound up being WHM.
And yeah...other things that pissed me off:
*Other main jobs lotting WHM stuff I should have gotten.
*Getting yelled out on Vent for lotting FREE LOT ***that everyone else had in droves but I never had the opportunity to get previously.
*Putting up with an ancient DKP-based LS for nearly a year, where every old member had 1000's of DKP and I didnt get ***to show for it except for a rot Dalmatica from Odin.
*Being bitched at for not having Bahamut V2 access in the Abyssea era.

oh supressed memory times lol, I was in a DKP type LS as well back on bahamut I think? except it was the type of LS where only the LS leader and his friends got ***, it was a sky LS too so you're talking hours and hours and hours of devoted time only to get nothing (even if the person getting the item did not need it at all, didn't have the job for the items)

What endgame I did I just did with my normal LS, screw endgame shells. My only experience with an endgame LS was when a friend wanted to start one so a buch of us joined to help out... After a while though RL stuff forced him to step away from then game, we tried to keep it going while he was absent but it kinda fell apart. People got everything they needed and left, the point system he wanted to use had set points for items rather than bidding so it quickly got close to just a free lot system for anyone around more than 2 weeks, someone ninjad a CC, I picked up more hours at work so couldn't make as many nights (not that I was too important) and couldn't find enough dedicated members. It was fun for a while but it became a chore by the end.

Just saw a "top viewed/searched" in yahoo, top was "Justin Beiber murde..." and I got giddy and the prospect of him gone, but then highlighted over link, "...murder plot" and I was like DAMN IT DID NOT WORK AND IT WAS NOT THE LINK I WANTED! DAMN YOU!

If you need a pearl, I'll ask for one from the LS that Dread invited me to. It's just a sort of social shell, but everyone has been helpful. I'd been soloing Briareus and a few different people came out to help me at different times. (Not to mention all the pops Dread did with me.) I also let a guy have my Rani pop set so he could get his clear, and was planning to get him his atma from Sobek once I catch him online again.
I've just been giving away all the different +2 items and whatnot that drop.
Let me know if you need any help. Soloing is one of the few things I'm really decent at on NIN, because that's how I leveled it. (At 75 cap, I did a couple duo/trio parties with some friends, but otherwise leveled the entire job without any help.)
