I'm likely to go to Mysidia with some old time FFXI friends which I still stay in contact with.

Also, there was a sudden explosion of ponies several nights ago so I figured I was due for an avvy change. Aly helped find one that suited me best lol.

I use a PS2 controller with a PS2 -> USB adaptor. Used it for years on FFXI, still use it for all my emulators. Their really cheap on Amazon.

As far as ergonomics go, I'm still rather fond of the Microsoft Xbox 360 controller made for PC. As far as functionality goes, you might find other third parties such as Logitech more suited for function over form.

Mysidia is actually gungnir now unless they rename the servers for 2.0.

Worth noting they are planning to include a system that lets people from different servers play together (don't ask me the details). So even if we are spread out we should be able to meet up from time to time for ingame stuff if we wanted.

Cuz I sincerely doubt my PC will be able to play FFIV. It is a cheap low brand HP I got last black friday. No expandable ports for vid cards. Its pretty much good for streaming movies and other movies.

But I can't play games without a keyboard anymore. >_> I remember trying to play FFXI on my ex's PS3 and it was just a fumbling match and I just threw controller back at her.

Edit: Also my TV is ancient.

So it'd kinda be like the trans-server dungeon queue thing WoW has going on? Would be even better if we could set up specifics so we don't have any random filler to put a damper on our fun or strategy.

Tv's are getting relatively cheap nowadays... I got a 720 600 Samsung for about $500... the 1080 was about 150 more...

Free ancient TV is still free. Plus I would be buying a PS3 maybe. PLus gotta save up for guns....and new PS3 games (insert LOLs here)

As long as more then half the group is friends I generally don't care about randoms personally and have my fun anyways, they can deal with it... If they are being stupid I cursh their souls and bend them to our will.

honestly, while 14 does look all pretty up and new changes and what not, the burn from 1.0 is big enough for me to not care about it.
sure I will give it a try, mainly because I want to mess around with the new chara creation interface, but asides from that.. bleeeh.
my existing chara is on Hyperion, and unless they make server transfers free, I'm staying there for the time being :/
