fairly certain aegis still is good for certain situations (at least from what I read)

Why worry about a PLD relic anyways? I love PLD,but its not worth wasting a relic over based on the current state of the job

I'm about to finish Excalibur then going straight onto Aegis, after I finish Aegis I'll do Ochain so I have the best shield for any situation.

Possibly,but their attention could shift to making rune fencer the prime choice tank,maybe not.Can always make it within 2 months or so after the enmity changes,if ever,before/when it happens
And for the record,I was almost finished with my aegis

Isnt mandau considerably better though?

Horn is going to save you on inventory, and unlike most relics, actually compliments it's empyrean. THF is really only good for farming dynamis and putting TH on things, and there are better things to farm dynamis with.
I really might make a horn now....... jfbdlksbbdfhsbkbkd this is so hard to decide.
Also BRD will be a lot more useful post embrava nerf.

oooh yeah ... picked up my copy of Ragnarok also tonight :3 was at the mall getting my PC and decided to stop in and see if the gamestop there had a copy of the Collector Edition in (I had it pre ordered at a different store closer to me... but it was like 10 minutes to their store closing lol) so was able to transfer my pre order money from that store to the other and pick up my copy at the mall~
Lol? You can get by with so little as BRD.
I youtubed that game,it doesnt look very good. But the lack of vita games to play overall means I might get it if it ever comes out here

I was considering making horn, but I had to do years of sky/sea as bard, and only allowed to go as bard.. always in the black mage party, and they only wanted ballad. Hours upon HOURS of Balladx2 > elegy > alt tab for 2 minutes > repeat.
That really put me off on bard.
