City is meh, small town is ok. A cabin sounds extremely nice but no electricity and no internet? Shoot me now! I don't care how many amazing books I have I needs the internet to get my daily dose of the outside world, even if I hate it a lot of the time. XP
Well, I've lived a year without either electricity nor internet and I survived to tell the tale. Each person is different of course, but I dunno. I think I'd love that.
Yomi, we all have our reason for wanting to live wherever. I can't fault you for that. My buddy is the same way. He's from LA, and he's never lived anywhere that had less than like 1.5 million people. I tell him, "You should come to Wisconsin with me. It'll be fun!" And he just rolls his eyes and tells me that would be the most boring thing he'd ever have to go through. To each his/her own.

We don't have running water at the cabin but with a generator, an old drum that we heat water in and this hose/drill thing my dad made we can take hot showers lol. Just press the button on the drill thingy and you've got running water.
Oh, bathing is your issue? Nothing better than dipping into a creek and cleansing oneself with nature.

Well the biggest thing you get here is pike and those are kinda rare in the lake next to our cabin. I've never seen one :/

Fortunately the axe wasn't that sharp at the time and she sucked at chopping wood. Wouldn't let my mom stitch her up though, even though she was a nurse.
