DRG is pretty damn fun, mine was geared piss poorly though (well it was OK but not the best I guess?)

How DRG-y is DRG in 14? Do you get a wyvern or is it just a lancer that jumps around?
No wyvern this time... I kinda think of it as the XIV version of samurai since it does a bit more weapon skills then other jobs. It also gets power serge which charges 3 times randomly(?) after WS or jump to give them a very large bonus to attack as well as an additional enmity control ability over mnk. I think it's normally along the lines of mnk > short fights and drg > for long fights.
Going into 2.0 it could change alot though so the above is only good for 30 more days.
Edit: I'm pritty sure FF11 is the only one where drg gets a wyvern.

Kain Highwind is pritty much their icon for drg as I understand it from my limited experience in the older games. Since they are pulling alot from older games they will probably stick to him as their base rather then pull the wyvern from XI.
