i cant upload pictures right now lol laptop overheats ಠ_ಠ

What are you doing to that poor laptop to overheat it ∂_∂

trying to upload a pic made it over heat lol i have nothing else opened lol

now i get the desktop but all my good pics are on my laptop ಠ_ಠ

I do everything on my laptop. FFXI, 4-5 pages of IE (I use IE9 explorer), Msn, FB, all at once. Granted, I recently replaced my CPU fan and use a duo-fan cooling pad, but I think the cooling pad is unnessecary anymore. Replacing the CPU fan has done wonders. It runs cooler now than when it was brand new.

Since an emulator on my pc, when i try and change the save file it just doesn't work x.x ಠ_ಠ

Not showing off, just saying. A cooling pad isn't for your CPU anyways. It's for your motherboard and battery, etc. Idk what kind of laptop you have, but it doesn't matter; they're basically all the same when it comes to thermal issues. Uncover your CPU and look. You'll see a copper heat sink screwed to the top of your CPU. Attatched to that you'll find your CPU fan. The copper draws the heat off of your CPU and the fan expells it through a vent. If you want to optimise your cooling, without spending money, remove your battery, unplug, then remove your fan. There's a metal vent attatched to the fan that comes off when you unscrew it. in between the vent and the actual fan, you'll probably find 1/2" of gunk and crap that's blocking airflow. Clean that out, and replace.
Oh, and before screwing the copper heat sink back, apply some 'Arctic-Silver' heat sink paste. You'll see where it goes. There's some residual paste there from before.

you know ... it's funny cause ... I've seen and used the computers at NASA... and surprisingly they are NOT good xD.

Not to say that they do have some nice server rooms but ... yeah those don't really count :p

You need a phillips head screw driver, not a work shop. And heat sink paste can be gotten anywhere. Radio Shack, places like that. 1 tube, lasts like, forever, costs about 5.00. 5 dollars or replace the fan later for 60.00, or even worse, replace the laptop later for god knows how much. It's called insurance, or preventive maintenance.

i dont even trust my dad to open my laptop, less even me. he opened his laptop and broke it and replaced the motherboard :| not happening

i usually run my laptop (13" macbook running XP) with 8 firefox tabs, a folder with my ps3 controller drivers, notepad++ with 4-5 tabs open for my xmls, my GW client folder, and FFXI

lol i'm about to run all my photos thru photoshop and batch watermark them all... this should be FUN.
