Even today any appearance of the Green Lady is taken very seriously by those who believe in her. It is said that many of her appearances have been followed by a disaster of some kind, and indeed, several fires at the castle have followed alleged sightings of the silent figure.

And yeah, my house was built in the late 1800's. I've never seen or heard anything out of place. I watch horror movies with the lights off whenever I get the chance.
Any ghost that wants to haunt me, will be brought back to life via-necromancy so I can punch them in the face repeatedly.

I don't see how wet monsters are better than aliens, but to each their own. Personally, I'd think that at least beasts like the Chupacabra or Sasquatch are higher up on the list, but that's me.

Reminds me of an Easter a looong time ago, was in the middle of the night and only light in the room was from the t.v. and I happened to glance at the window and I see a giant shadow with ears pass by lol...
Strangest happening to me, was when I was around 15-16 doing dishes home alone. Mind you I was sober all the time at this point. So doing the dishes and a voice calls out, "what are you doing?" in which I replied, "Dishes.". A second later I realized I'm home alone.
