Doubtful... I seem to remember people using full partys for that at 75 cap unless I'm thinking of a different one.
You gotta be thinking of another one, I had to solo it for my wife a while back, did it on DNC (right around level 75 I think, might of been 80). Didn't even have trouble with it, if it took a whole party of 75's you'd think it would at least be a bit difficult to solo, even at 80.

Then it would appear the issue is not so much the capacity for taking him down, but rather outlasting him, as I am forced to pop him on BLM, thus limiting the cures available for my WAR.

I was pretty sure you have to activate Manafont in order to get the cutscene allowing you to pop him. Perhaps I can just pop my 2hr, get the CS, then come back as WHM?

You should be able to get the manafont CS then go switch jobs and come back yes... 90% sure atleast.

I had quit for over a year. Got the itch a couple of months ago and compulsively bought the expansion and reactivated with a friend. I got my warrior to 85, got an epic cloak through the saving Thrall chain, then just lost interest I guess. Only had a couple of friends who still played, no guild, etc.

I did have fun on my pally too though. They really made them better.

OK so this just happened and I found this hilarious... some guy is shouting to pay for LB10. So I said I'll go sam/war. Guy asks me if I have stardiver. I said I can go pup for pummel or dnc for DE w/e.. Says "Just don't like sam in general, terrible job without SD xD". Now I realize why this guy is paying for LB10 lol So I told him I'll just pass.

I found the grind on WoW to be kinda ... easy? I did my first character to uh ... whatever level was needed to unlock death knight? then grinded that up to max in no time lol.
