Oh man! I just made an appointment to get my hair hacked off tomorrow morning. I'm nervous! It'll be my first time in ~7 years going to a real salon instead of a beauty school. I was going to wait until next month before cutting it to be sure I had the style I wanted, but it's driving me so crazy I can't wait!

Except I'll still have glasses and I'm not stripping my hair back to blonde. It'll grow out on its own, it's already getting there.
I don't know why I'm suddenly so nervous, I've wanted this for months. It tickles and is irritating, hot on my neck and painful when I pull it back. I also have a long face and weird nose like her:
so I'm really hoping bangs will help me look more human and less alien! And goodness knows I need a hair style that looks good messy. I'm never going to be convinced that I need to spend half an hour every day curling it, then straightening it or whatever, then stuffing it full of hairspray, goop, and other sticky stuff. Nope not me!

I don't think she looks bad, but she does have a long face. Long faces are broken up better by bangs, so since mine is long too, I think bangs are kind of necessary.
