I was at a festival last summer, haggard as ***, and needed food. So I went to the little food stand they had and asked for a grilled cheese sandwich. They asked if I wanted bacon on it. I was like "Hells yes". So I got the sandwich and bit into it and it was maple bacon. I've been on the bandwagon ever since. Ha

Poutine with bacon is pretty god mode also. Oh man...
I only had it for the first time a couple years ago... nobody ever beleaves me that it is good either, they are afraid of it. >.>
When I order it, my order kind of goes like this:
"this is going to sound ****** up, but can I get Poutine with bacon on it?"
It normally gets a few laughs but I have not had anyone not put bacon on it (minus mainstream joints which I don't do much.

Bacon here is much more uncommon, it's only used as an ingredient for few dishes, but other than that is not even considered. Every time I ask bacon in a sandwich people look at me in shock saying "you really eat bacon?!" like I'm some kind of lion for doing so.

Isn't Italy a very healthy nation though (certainly in comparison with other european countries)? Bacon is really a terrible thing to eat nutrition wise. Idk is the attitude of the nation that you should eat healthy?
