Good thing I have his eulogy planned out now. Maybe for you. I need to find some people to play that shire music for the after party. Sometimes "aggressive behaviour"(so to speak)is directed at one thing but has roots in others(bullies, isolation, or whatever). This might not be realistic option judging from the information above, but if you can, get him into a sport, something cheap and grassroots like boxing where any frustration or aggression can be focused into something positive. Sport teaches discipline and focus, not to mention a competitive environment can be very humbling and motivational. Also, I wish I could help out Slip, but I'm not the best person capable of giving out this sort of advice. But kids are meant to be a handful. If it was an easy road, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. The important thing is that you're a good father and that you're doing the best you can for your child. That's all that can be asked of you. It's also why your hair is gonna turn white by the time you're 45.
I don't know if box is a good idea for a child Sagi...

Back reading your musical instrument is a great idea, although that could quite easily drive Slip insane I would imagine >_> IE Silent Violins that are decent quality and not overly costly. Play with headphones etc. I looked into them because I wanted to learn violin and don't want to drive my neighbors insane since I live in a condo. I mean yes they aren't as good as the top violins and won't sound as bang on but for the price they're great for starters. Just for the record he has a full set of drums that he never gets second thought to.. He doesn't seem that inclined except to knowledge.. For Christmas, he wanted stuff to teach him spanish, that's what he asked for.. He just seems to want to learn ***, like me.

Bismarck.Magnuss said: » Edit: Sagi. While your here do you or one of your kinsmen know how to play the bagpipes >_> Music also teaches discipline to some extent, cause you can't just learn instantly but you actually need to apply some commitment to it and work for it(then how much it takes is just related to talent). But yeah it's easy to give up cause it wasn't how you imagined it, you need a goal and focus on it.
But maybe I digressed. |
