I gotta say people acting like in their first season getting to the finals was a failure blows my mind. Even further it blows my mind that people question their talent. Honestly I don't care for basketball much but to talk down arguably the best active player just blows my mind.

And why exactly is Lebron an ***? Because he didn't stay with Cleveland? Or because he acts the same way every other pro athlete acts? Everything Jordan did or say also wasn't monitored the same way the modern stars are. Just remember that.

My point exactly. They don't play fair Mab? Honestly? That one "dive" Wade had wasn't remotely close to what Ginobli did a couple years back. Miami is just public enemy number one because their key players are made into celebrities far more than the average player and they have an extremely talented group put together.
Jordan really is an exceptional ***, but he had the competitive drive and killer instinct to back it up. Kind of like Kobe, but even more intense.
Aside from Steve Nash, I can't think of many other current players as truly deserving of a ring than Dirk and Kidd. Exceptional players, the both of them.
And I say this as someone who 'should' be a Thunder fan, but I don't follow basketball like I used to.

Nash is my fave player he is more than due for a championship....but i don't see it happening...now if the heat would've taken it all, I;d be clapping for them. i don't question players talent i'll rag on them to their fans just to get a rise out of them...just entertainment for me.

I can understand the hate for the Heat, but I don't really share it. I see three guys who wanted to play together and took the opportunity to do so but stumbled over a few PR nightmares along the way. They'll get their rings in due time.
I don't see the Heat hate as too different from the hate for the richest European soccer clubs. A sizable number of soccer fans will always hate the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Barcelona just because they have the funds to buy the best players and managers in the world.
