basically except i have my headset on high volume :|
My headset does a pretty good job at blocking out ... everything within hearing distance. The mic usually doesn't pick up ambiance either unless it's right next to the source.

i have a sensitive mic. if i put on voice activation my stomach can activate it =(

I leave my mic on push to talk. I really don't think my guild wants to hear me singing banana phone or some other random songs while we wait for raid time to start.

Everyone I play with has to put up with my singing constantly. :x They enjoy it. lmao
For me they have to put up with my John Madden impressions to point out the blaring obvious, and my Pirate speak/accent when I'm bored.

A buddy and I have a long tradition to name a character in any RPG we play John Madden (and a few others like Joey and The Hair Guy from Yugioh the Abridged) and voice out their lines in those voices.
I RP a pirate with a group of friends in a pen and paper game. Got a lot of practice with that so I do a damn good pirate!
Oh, I also do a good Macho Man Raaaandy Savage.
