Magnus' guide to soloing Sith Marauder:
Get a crapton of medpacks.
Lots of stimpacks.
Have your companion attack first.
Spam 1 & 2, and occasionally Ravage, Shout and Force Choke.
Pray to anyone that you don't get stomped.
Be prepared to die. A lot.
Corn.

yep, i just finished act one on my sentinel. i had to get help to make it through
btw i am now Irohuro/Irohu'ro/I'rohuro/Irohur'o/Iro'huro/Iro-huro/I-rohuro/Sith'iro Starktljus =D
Oh I'm gonna finish my Marauder. It's 46. But once that's done, I've got a smuggler accruing a TON of rest xp. I built him like a week ago, got him to a Cantina and haven't logged on him since.
My sister has decided that I must now get a Magic The Gathering deck since she is now addicted to it and need more people to play with XD

btw you're probably gonna hate republic pvp, especially PUG. unless your server is republic heavy that is (lol). on my server its majorly imp heavy and atm, its been a few weeks since i've been in a winning warzone match... my pvp daily is getting dusty =/

You can make characters freely between servers, you legacy doesn't carry over as far as I know though... I think someone said the character cap was 50 with 8 per server max
Oh nice. Yeah, I'd be down to making a character there. You guys on the Empire side, I take it? I should make a Bounty Hunter...

yea, you cant take your legacy with you, thats the only bad thing
