My price range is $600-1k, and ff is not going to be the only game that I will be running. And I'm wanting a desktop I already have a laptop but do not like playing games on it.

Best bet is to build it yourself, if that's not your plan there's a couple other options over getting a pre-built office PC.

Well if anything I just need the specs to run ff at its best w/o the lag I can get a monitor for about $100, and the other $900 can go to the desktop if needed I can go up to $1.5k.
