He's too fast for me. I just saw him on my counter. By the time I stood up he was back behind the oven.
It sounds personal. Whatever you do, don't hire Christopher Walken as your exterminator.

Mice and rats go apeshit for peanut butter.. I knew that long before Wanted <_< it's one of the actual realistic things from that movie.. Bait a trap with peanut butter (lethal or otherwise) and he will almost definitely be caught within 24 hours.
Asura.Chuuuuu said: » :( but they are so cute ![]() I prefer to keep my cooking area germ-free. And yeah, right now I have a tube with peanut butter setup over a pale. Hopefully he falls right into it. <_< you know they can jump like a foot or two easily, right?
Not to question your trap making wisdom, but mice and rats can jump way higher than you'd actually expect. <~~ Has kept many of both as pets and dealt with the pest varieties as well. Standard size kitchen garbage pale should be good enough I figured. That's gotta be about 28 inches high.
yeah i was gunna say... lol they jump hella high a pale isnt going to work
anyways i hope it does work lol
I guess time will tell, but my instinct wants to say that's not gonna be high enough. Maybe initially he won't be able to jump out, but once the adrenaline kicks in and he gets desperate, he just very well might be able to clear that.

Worst case scenario, if it doesn't work, I turn it into a drown trap. depending on the tube's end, I'd say just take a piece of cardboard big enough to cover the opening to the can, and a hole just big enough to fit around the tube, tape the cardboard down to the can and stick the tube through that.. If there's nothing at the end for him to grab onto in the tube, then he shouldn't be able to get out, no matter how much he jumps.
I actually had a tiny mouse in my house about a month or two ago, ..we had to kill it before it started making babies and such. I felt bad, but you gatta do what ya' gatta do.
