ugh, i miss my uni, i would always go there (the cafeteria) for breakfast. and the same lady always worked the breakfast line, she was really sweet once you got to know her but she was one of the ones who people always assumed she was a *** and didnt like here.
she always remembered everyone though and i never had to ask for what i wanted, she always knew exactly what i wanted to order

the place here is runned by a bunch of students except for the managers. I hate the food. the only thing I look forward to is getting chocolate milk, A v8 or tea from down there, and thats it
my freshman yea was the first year the new dining hall was opened. the first floor was restaurants/cafe like burgers, tacos, chinese, mcalisters and starbucks, along with the convenience store. and the second floor was the actual dining hall that we used our meals on.
and in the UC they had chic-fil-a and sushi+cold sandwiches+fruit.

When I lived in the dorms it was an all you can eat type thing. Most of the food was average to poor, but they had 1) endless fruit/juice/frozen yogurt/cereal 2) could normally manage to not mess up scrambled eggs, bacon and hashbrowns 3)good salad bar.
Thus I would go in in the morning, have a really hearty breakfast, steal a bunch of fruits and what not that I would munch on through out the day, then for dinner I would have a salad, and then copious amounts of frozen yogurt w/ sprinkles :3.

I always think "well, ***, I guess death is the only thing we are garunteed(sp?)" but it doesn't really help all that much when it hits close to home -.-
