I like rain but i hate thunderstorms >: and lol Novax xD
I like thunderstorms.. The louder the boom, the happier I am. I like rain too, the smell, the sounds.. But I really like thunderstorms.. Something about thunder loud enough to rattle windows to a point where you think they might shatter, and lighting up the sky like it's noon..
Although there was this one time that a bolt of lightning struck literally 10 feet out my window, on the neighbors car port.. That scared the living *** out of me.. I literally about pissed myself.. It came from no where though, there was only light rumbling for about half an hour and then all of a sudden, it sounded like someone shot of a 12 gauge while using my shoulder to steady the barrel on... You could actually smell it.
Why do they put corks in wine bottles? Does it keep it fresher or something? /toolazytogoogleits2:21am
Because the way cork is, it doesn't let any liquid out, and also it will expand and contract with the neck of the bottle. The seal is always tight this way, though I am sure that some science would show that air and other stuff gets through because it isn't perfect. They used to use rags.

Correct, but it depends on how it's stored..
Wine is stored with corks, and wine racks are slanted down, so the cork stays wet, which means it stays expanded, if wine is stored upright, the cork dries out and over many years, debris will work its way in (mostly dust), but it also lets in air which over many years will turn the wine into something you don't want to really drink...
Corks are ingenious, because of the way they work, if wine with a cork is stored properly, it will last practically forever.

I don't mind the lightning stuff, but i don't like loud things at all >:! I grew up with my grandparents and my grandma used to close all windows/curtains, turn off the tv, turn on all lights in the house when there was a thunderstorm xD She was so scared of it lol
Oh, I guess I just took upon your earlier post today saying you needed to stop listening to sad music. So I went digging for stuff I had that might be relevant.

i like Tstorms too, but all the ones we've been having lately have been accompanied with the threat of damaging hail/windgusts/tornadoes.
i dont like being scared for my life and livelyhood =/
Any idea why I would get a severe splitting headache in the same spot every time, for months or years? Normal OTC stuff does nothing to help it, either. Going to a doctor is out, I dunno if it's just the area I live in, but I can find out more by Googling that going to a doctor, they don't do jack ***around here, at all.. And I'm not content to just throw money at them when they do nothing anymore, I'll go to the ER if it's life threatening, but that's it.
Anyways, any ideas? It comes and goes every few days, it's nearly debilitating, in the sense I can't really do anything when they hit, just sit there and breathe and try to ride it out. I suffered from migraines when I was younger, and this doesn't feel anything like them.. When I'd get migraines, if they were severe enough I would actually get nauseas, in fact more than once they actually caused me to throw up.. Migraines felt more like a throbbing/pounding and went with my heart rate more or less, these are sharp and piercing, they do pulsate but it's at a much slower frequency than my heart rate. Moving my head also gives an immediate pain.

That sounds somewhat if not very important, my lack of medical training says you should really look into a hospital who will do the appropriate testing.
With the above statement made I do know tumors can give you migraine like symptoms.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
