Thats pretty much what it sounds like. What other reason would people do it the first place. You dont have your own place, your parents are home, you have no money for something better. Its all situations you find yourself in high-school, or perhaps living with your parents afterward(then I guess we get into situational reasons why people would with that being said, but majorally speaking).

Okay, so in college one of the BF's buddies swung by after porking a girl on the hood of another friend's car at Zilker Park. He burst into our house PANTLESS, in a panic, and explained to us that a bum had stolen the pants that he kicked off with the car owner's keys still in the pockets! He also ditched "Flavor Saver" (I don't remeber the girl's name, but her nickname that the guys gave her was hilarious!) on one of the paths because he was so embarrassed!

lol, Idk, depend on the style I guess but I know a few people who've broken their bed doing it, could only imagine what'd it cost if they started having sex on their table or something... D:
