Morning all

/stumbles off for coffee

The manager lady of the place we live really really sucks ***. She'll say one thing today, and tomorrow she'll say another... and then call you a liar if you ask wtf. She plays favorites with residents, keeps the pool closed that we all pay a crap load each month to keep open, and has sex in it in the middle of the day where everyone can see her. She's never in the office when you need to talk to her, and when you can get a hold of her, she's often wasted.

Yesterday she came by the house and said a whole bunch of stupid stuff... so today I call the main office- her superior, and her only superior.

Turns out they're friggin bffs! Any time I tried to say anything, the boss lady was like "Well, she's a good person and I just don't see why you'd say that." and would start telling me all of the stuff I was talking about just couldn't be true because that manager is such a good person, and implying that I'm a liar.


So right now I'm thinking about how badly I want to set this place on fire.

Ugh we want to move sooo badly but we can't afford to right now. ;;

But if we don't do the stuff the manager says, she says she can evict us.... even though stuff she's told us to do doesn't make sense/isn't in the lease.

She kinda of let this place go to the dumps. It's not like the slums or anything that bad, but ppl haven't kept their houses in decent condition and some of the area looks like crap. Our house had almost nothing wrong with it because we fixed most of it when we moved in. She's in ppl's butts about fixing stuff because the city is tired of the place looking how it does and is threatening to close it down. WHy she's on my *** and not the neighbor that painted their house electric blue(no I'm not exaggerating, the name on the paint can was 'electric blue') who also leave copious amounts of beer cans in their drive way (open canister law around here, too) so that they can run them over and flatten them... well I just don't know.

IDK what' up her butt, but it's getting really old lol.

There are some elderly people around here that can't really fix their own places up. I've offered to help a few of them for free, but it's like Douche bag City in here. Most of them assume I want to check their house out for things to steal and that's the only reason I'm offering.

We have the original paperwork with the list of things she asked us to do on it. And you can see it's done by looking at the house... If she wants to try and kick us out, she can, but she's gonna have a helluva fight.

Wait. Is this an apartment complex, condominiums, or a house? I had a BF that did residential property management out of college. If it's a house in an HOA you should tell the owner of the house or condo and then contact the president of the HOA or go to the meetings.

I'm sure you're not the only one who feels that she has done a shitty job.

NC. The sun fries their brains and it's decently affordable to live here so all the crazies friggin flock here. And we bought our dog a little $10 plastic pool last year to cool off in, but he drinks out of it and plays in his water bowl... so you can have that to bone in ^^



Houses. The manager here is the worthless one. I called her superior at the main office and she all she told me was how nice the manager is, and implied i was lying about pretty much everything.

I should rephrase that...Is each individual house leased through a private owner or does a management company own the whole complex?

:-( Aww Bluespoons. Our place makes me cranky too. But we are moving in another couple of weeks, so I am very glad! I hope you can move out soon too.

The company owns this huge section of land. They do own a few houses here, but for the most part, and in our case, people own the houses and rent the lot it sits on.
