Don't you hate it when you find references or music you have known and loved for ages suddenly show up in modern pop culture icons.
It drives me up a wall when I play a Zero 7 or Massive Attack song and have someone essentially be like "Hurrrr, that's that song from House!"

When it's like that, yes! When it's like, "Oh hey, they used that song on House? Neat!" Then I'm cool with it. Especially when I discover it firsthand.

I think it has to do with [derogatory term I'm sure will be deleted] knowing a song because of some popular show/movie, only because of said show/movie without knowing a single thing about the band..

In some weird way, it's cheapening and even demoralizing.. It can also tarnish your view of said band in the age of prominent sell outs..

And before someone questions 'sell out' (because someone always does) so many bands/musicians now are completely changing who they are, and what music they produce, just because of the customer base.. IMO, when you start making music just for money, you've become a sell out.. Sure, lots of people, even good bands, want to make money.. But when you just start catering to the masses, you've sold out. An artist should be expected to receive compensation for their work, they should not expect to be paid for 'creating'.

In a way I'm glad that it helps get greater recognition from a more independent or underground group, but the manner in which this "wider audience" takes it in, almost defeats the purpose of having a fan base to begin with when they fail to recognize the source let alone give it credit.

These are the kinda people that will only listen to and like the singles and EPs released, but will never listen to or buy the album.

You'd probably want to go with cure potency over mind in most cases as Cure potency ignores the "soft cap" while MND is more limited in that sense.

The whitening gel im using in this plastic retainer bubbles and fizzes like its pop rocks. I guess that's normal :o

Aren't all those whitening products supposed to be bad on the teeth? I've read quite a few articles about how it eats away at enamel/helps erode it, and that enamel is pretty much a tooth's sole defense, I don't know if it's possible for it to grow back, at the very least it's extremely difficult to get back once it's gone..

Something to consider.. Cherish your teeth while you have them.. Trust me..

My daughter's preschool is less than 1/4 a mile from my house... but they still don't have power...
