I don't get why people hate Taco Bell.. It's one of my favorite fast food places.. I like Burger King, but we hardly ever go there cuz it's expensive and nearly every other Fast Food chain we eat at is twice as close as our nearest Burger King. Dairy Queen is good too, but wife doesn't like them (dunno why, they're like the only fast food chain who gives a ***about appearance and taste, as long as I've been going there, I've never had an 'ugly burger' minus the dew droplets on the tomatoes they look the same in person as they do in the ads).

My router keeps doing this weird thing, and I wonder if anyone else encounters it.

I will be playing FFXI and streaming youtube or slacker and all over a sudden whatever is going on in Firefox will die out. FFXI will keep playing but Firefox will act as though I dropped connection. I also can't login to the router via the browser when this happens.

When I reset the router by turning it off and on again the nets is restored Firefox wise and FFXI will drop to R0 for a minute and then go back up but only for a minute or two. Every time I get connection back and a few minutes later I full on DC from FFXI.

If I don't reset the router FFXI will continue for HOURS with Firefox being "down", eventually even my chat programs like Skype and AIM will go down, but FFXI will not drop connection unless I router reset.

Weird ya?

My router does that stupid crap as well. Or it did when I was first setting it up. I was trying to configure it, and kept having to restart it to get back into the interface.

I used to have that issue. I ended up replacing the router completely to alleviate it. Though I'm sure you are looking for a more reasonable workaround than "replace your router". =/

How old is the router? If it's old, could be that it can't handle all the traffic like it used to be able to and you need a new one. Just a shot in the dark though.

It's less than a year old. I am suspecting a problem of some sort with how it is opening and closing connections. I am still new to networking but from what I have learned in class it could be something to do with each time a new song is obtained or a new page is loaded there are ports assigned and it could just be running out after a certain amount of time. This could be why FFXI continues to run, assuming that FFXI connects on the ports it needs and then uses the same connection established throughout the whole time you are using it.

Is it bad that it took me a minute to figure you why we'd be dressed up?

I'm at home wearing pajama pants and a T-shirt... can we say I'm dressed up as a tired person and that count XD

Debating if I actually want to go out as a white skater boy or buy a real costume tonight. <.< >.>

I just foud out that the next gop debate is at my uni next week. I have a test that day too =( damnit i gotta wake early and find a sparking spot.
