Seha, I'm disappointed in Umineko. So far, all the "bloody" murders, like the candy/cookies inside the stomache, was done "behind the scenes"
The closest thing I saw to bloody murder is flying spears stabbing people.

purchase a game digitally (I couldn't find a good .iso of it :x and it was cheap anyway) and get told I have to wait at least a day before my card is charged and I can play?

I would have in this instance but of every one I got (about 6 different ones) they all did not work or hooked up during either the installation or they refused to run cause of some improper thing or ... something :|

No, i didn't recognize it since i never saw the anime, only read (still reading) the manga, and sometimes images and portrayals don't mingle across both spectrums
