As far as separating the art from the artist, pretty much anybody that's morally sound has to do that a ton, at an ever increasing frequency (and has had to do it a ton for several decades at this point, more decades than I've been breathing). Hollywood turns people into freaks and/or incredible upturn in wealth lets people go off the deep end in ways that they shouldn't.
