Silent hill f review is out, scored 86 MC from 61 critics atm. So it is about the same as SH2 remake.

I watched the first 3 hour gameplay stream a few days ago and I totally loved the environment design, the atmosphere, the symbolic presentation style and how intriguing the story is. I think they nailed the old school SH vibe, and somehow it felt more OG SH 1-4 like than SH2 remake did. SH2R just felt like closer-to-RE style horror game to me, and somewhat different from Team Silent style.

I can't wait to see what will happen in the story next. Time to watch some more early streams tomorrow!

You can't find something that was never there in the first place though. Media narratives, and jumping the gun are fun but rarely truthful.

It is, read up on it. Scans were done and they stated it "looked like" ground disturbances that appeared to be burial sites, then someone ran with it and created a narrative that the media and leftists politicians happily went along with.

There has not been one body found, no evidence of anything at all. not even 1 body has been produced in this supposed mass grave.

The ones that spread it are happy with the victim story they created and don't want to talk about it anymore.

Everytime I feel like I have my path clear to complete my walkthrough, I notice that if I had another decision in the past, I would reach my goal faster.

Then comes a craving to reset 10h+ of gameplay to get back to that point and take another route.

And 10h of gameplay means over than a week of playing.

But I guess that what means optimizing something: it means taking the right decisions as early as you can.

But the paradox is that you only will know the right decisions once you are fully aware of its consequences. What explain why this project is taking so long to finish.

At least, my current iteration went the furthest so far, going to day 27. My plan is to reset up till day 8 or 10, what means 13h of gameplay.

If RNG is nice with me, maybe I will get to my current point by the next week
