-It shows what it means to have "entertaining/addictive gameplay without needing good graphics".
But we all know that GOTY doesn't go to low budget solo dev indie games so mehhhhhh.

If the market wants a drug dealer sim, and this is the only game that hits the spot, then it's apparently special enough to sell well and receive overwhelming positive reviews.
