My mother was a very violent woman, and we fought constantly when I was a teenager. One of the phrases she would use while arguing was "you'll be sorry when I'm dead," which never seemed to phase me at the time. Perhaps I'm one of those people born without emotion, devoid of empathy...but she died in 2018 and I'm still not sorry.

Im done with all old school FF.

For me, FF9 is the less appealing one from FF7 to FF12.

I dont dislike, but idk, maybe it is simply not the game for me to play more than once in life.

Btw, that conversation people were having about homemade pizza a couple weeks back made me make my own pizza from scratch, with an Italian bottled tomato sauce.

It was delicious. Pretty easy to make too.

I also tried it in my cast iron pan, I think that one needs to be a deep dish style pizza with a lot more sauce and more cooking time to be good.

The thin style I like came out better on a regular oven pan.

Any interest in recipe? Was super easy, 20-30min preparation and the dough needs 1hr resting time after.

the two big things i've found for pizza:

measure by weight (all good baking recipes require you to do this anyway, a volumetric recipe is only perfectly reproducible if you've been making it for X years or your volume measuring method is identical to the person who wrote it)

get a pizza stone or steel and preheat it in your oven. it serves as a heat bank and creates a sharper temperature gradient from crust to the top so you get the right crust texture. gets you most of the way to pizza oven results without having to go outside and maintain another one-use appliance

Don't bother, it's just a story about a monkey man(or boy), who is nowhere near as cool as Squall or Cloud. The game has incredibly slow pace too.

I think this depends really heavily on the phase of life and where you are living. We lived with my parents for about a year, 10ish years ago when the boat we were going to live on ended up being a clusterfuck that needed new rudder, wiring, plumbing, etc.

I've always had a good relationship with them, although my mom had early symptoms of FTD (unknown at the time) that resulted in some weird behaviors, but even aside from that it was strained. In retrospect I think it had to do mostly with the size/layout of the house we lived in, it was a single story house with all the bedrooms on one side. I also worked from home and they were retired so we were there all the time. We had a good relationship but living in such close proximity to two other adults was really challenging at that phase of life.

In contrast, my dad lives with me now while his house is being rebuilt and it's a non issue. He has a room on a largely unused floor, can come and go as he wants, but we're also older and things are less contentious.

I usually respond negatively to it despite us having a good relationship, and yea it wasn't pleasant, but thinking about it more, I believe that probably had more to do with the circumstances surrounding it than the fact it was my parents. I'd be curious, major relationships issues aside, if there aren't a subset of people who respond negatively purely because it's so many adults in close proximity as opposed to being purely relationship challenges
