The Japanese school environment evoked horrrrrorrrrr feel the moment I looked at it. I didn't get this kind of feels from the environment in SH2 remake. SH2's environment is pretty, but it doesn't evoke horror feel for me. I think the environment designer in Silent Hill f absolutely nailed what horror feel is. Great design. Dont skip leg day gents, it can save your life. You can tell whos been watching too much bollywood. I saw the accident video.
It indeed feels like a movie. Thing was falling then boom. I think I already saw many emergency landings, but this one went streight to explosion. Today is easily the coldest day in the year so far. Usually, the further away from the cockpit the higher the survivability. The survival rate different is roughly 20%. And this data is known for a long time. So this A11 survivor is pure luck, that's it. His seat isn't safer than other seats in the back according to historical data. Also from my experience safe seats that's far away from the cockpit are usually cheaper, but business class are expensive, despite business class seats have lower survivability. Safe to say people don't pick seats based on survivability. Afania said: » Draylo said: » Looks like silent hill remake coming I honestly look more forward to Silent Hill f. I dont like the setting of silent hill f, it does not feel like silent hill to me. The entire story doesn't take place in Japan, ever, so I don't know how SH2 didn't feel like horror but Japan does... That is just probably you not liking America, but the majority of horror concepts that are successful are based in America so... A deserted worn down and eventually hellish looking mid western town seems more horror to me than a Japanese school environment lol Draylo said: » I dont like the setting of silent hill f, it does not feel like silent hill to me. A deserted worn down and eventually hellish looking mid western town seems more horror to me than a Japanese school environment lol Can be more of a culture background thing. There are many horror urban legend that happened in Japanese style high school setting. So whenever I see Japanese high school with dark mood I automatically think of horror. Due to way to many horror stories associate with it. On the other hand, an American town is just an American town. The environment isn't inherently tied to horror by itself, it's story/monster that is horror. I think it's more of a cultural subconscious thing. Further more, the dev said they will explore many horror themes including child abuse and bullying. These kind of theme are also more easily connect with me because it's a very big part in the society. I also think SH2 remake made certain environment bigger and a bit brighter. So that lowered the horror element in the environment. While SHf keep the environment dark and depressing from what I've seen. Everyday is friday 13th around here. K123 said: » BBC How is this related to someone claiming they jumped from a plane that was about to crash and survived with nothing more than minor injuries? Anyways, its impossible to discuss news outlets without people going "REEEEEEEEEE POO-LITICAL STUFF" and spamming Rooks inbox with reports. I had like 3 different reference points to backup my "lol" and "lmao" from the last 48 hours alone, but deleted it because I knew what it would stir up.
Not much difference between the bbc and fox news, except they push the other direction.
"I missed my flight because I couldnt manage my time properly" is a lot more believable than "I jumped from a crashing airplane and only suffered a couple scratches"
final destination meets unbreakable.
It's interesting to see him on TV being interviewed
Balancing cheating death and his brother dying he's definitely still elated, as I would be Back in 1945 the original meme was "Jump fuel can't melt steel beams"
Dude did you even read? BBC didn't say "this guy survived by jumping out of the plane". BBC only said there is one guy who survived the crash, but he had no idea how he survived. It takes 10 sec to Google and read exactly what BBC wrote before assuming they wrote something else. Just FYI, the chance of surviving from plane crash isn't 0. It's more like 0.000001% and it can happen if someone won the super luck lottery, as it happened multiple times in the past. There are also cases in the past that plane crash survivor lost memory on impact, which can explain why the survivor don't know how he survived. Quoting what BBC actually wrote: BBC said: Vishwashkumar Ramesh was in seat 11A on the London-bound Boeing 787 flight when it crashed shortly after take off in Ahmedabad, western India. Mr Ramesh's brother, Nayan Kumar Ramesh, told BBC News Vishwashkumar "has no idea how he survived" and escaped the plane as the only survivor. It is obvious he managed to survive because he followed the instructions given before the flight: In case of a fall, hug the seat in turtle position. This way, you reduce in 85% the physical impact, gain invulnerability to fire dmg. The only cons is that you became vulnerable to psychological dmg. So, only use it if you aren’t fighting against a psychical perty, |
