Cannibal Blade is such a cool name for a WS.

I've finally got my Blue Mage to the point where I can properly cleave. My next goal is a proper -DT set so I can do it more reliably in stuff like Omen, which is another thing I've realized I can do.

What kicked off me wanting to do this was entering Castle Oztroja (S) for an offensive Campaign Battle wherein there were 6 different defending armies. Defeating just one at a time was absolutely awful, especially with Ninjutsu animation locking me if I was trying to tank a bunch at once.

Me doing any endgame at all is basically for the sole purpose of getting better at Campaign Battles XD
And I suppose a little bit to make things easier when I get further along the Wings of the Goddess and Seekers of Adoulin storylines.

Been skilling up my puppet today using that method you said in the question thread.

Inevitably go agro from sneak/invis lapsing/me not paying attention. No bother... I KILLED THE SHIJIN! A MERE BEE IS NO MATCH FOR ME!... And my Trusts...

Gotten 100 melee skill ups this evening, and Automaton range just hit 95.

Overload rate is being mean to me with Wind Maneuvers. 1% chance to overload you say? OVERLOAD
6% you say? OVERLOAD
3% you say? OVERLOAD

Absolutely want the Wind Maneuvers for Ranged skill ups. Without them the Puppet only shoots like once every 20~ or so seconds. It's absurdly slow w/o

The Lair Reive I was doing was the one north-northwest of Bivouac #1 in Yahse Hunting Grounds. There should be nothing around to aggro as far as the eye can see.

Have fun doing Lilith. You will get 4/5 in no time, but those feet...

Omen is fairly easy to do, as long as you use food and buff up. I do it on a fairly weak thief alt and I just pull one at a time from distance. I dunno about AoE on blu, they do hit decently hard.

Odyssey also is easy to solo, as long as you know to avoid glowing areas (true sight semi transparent mobs exist there) and that most everything is sight aggro so pull from distance. They also get higher level as you go up floors.

Lillith is a pita to solo unless you're well geared, even on ve. Can do it but you need to be aware there is a steep learning curve.

The knockback is supreme bully mode, first time I tried her with multibox I nearly quit the game again.

We'll see how far I want to take things. I'm not yet sure how deep I even want to get into real endgame content because I don't know how much time I can block off for events with other people, and I'm already pushing the limits of what's possible with Trusts.

Even if I don't cast any spells or use any weapon skills, I tend to pull hate just from white damage alone and I end up tanking every fight. As a result, I can't attempt anything that can inflict more than 2500 damage at once, or inflict Charm, Doom, or Death. I have enough issues just getting Paralyzed sometimes, because healer trusts don't seem to do a whole lot either. I've started summoning just the Luopan trusts like Moogle, Star Sybil, and Sakura.

I entered Omen the other day for the first time after reading that I get a Paragon Card every 5 times I enter. But while I was there I decided to try it out, taking the "small light" route all the way to the end. Realizing how easy it was, I tried my hand at cleaving and actually did pretty well. Though it did almost make me want to start up a dual-box account with a Paladin for the sole purpose of gathering mobs, because surviving the trip into the middle of the pack is definitely the hardest part.

I rotated from that one to the one at J-6 and also the one clustered amongst Beady Penopts in the west.

For me, the Reive counted me out of bounds much closer to the nest than that. Not sure why. The mobs there are two wasps and a mantis. Agro to both sneak and sight, and for me, at least, moved right up to the Reive boundary.

The one in the west has 2 wasps and a Twitherym. J-6 has wasps and a beetle.

I just went with RDM sub, and reapplied sneak and invis and moved around a bit sometimes if necessary. Worst come to worst, at 75 you can beat two mobs at once with Trusts. They're not very strong for whatever reason. Just mildly evasive.

I still don't have the slightest *** idea who this blonde is! None of you read Vic's book, shame!

I remember having a discussion with a friend about whether Sheik is just "Zelda dressed as a man" or "Zelda magically turned into a man".

My final and decisive point was that if Zelda had the magical capacity to transform her nethers, why would that be as important as changing her hair colour or physique. "If Ganondorf is looking for Zelda, is his first tip-off going to be the obviously blonde hair or does he actually greet people by cupping their crotch?"

Though now that I've said this, I expect Random Thoughts to turn into a heated debate over this topic :P

Always kind of mystified me that people thought Sheik was a boy. She's so small, thin, and makes girl voice noises when being beaten black and blue by Bongo-Bongo's invisible form in Kakariko.

Like even as an 8 year old when the game was new... I didn't know she was Zelda, but nothing about Sheik screams guy to me lol

Like there's nothing even in the English text where Sheik refers to her sex. At least as far as I recall. I assume this whole, "Sheik a boy" thing comes from Japanese context or something.
