Thunderbolts lineup announced

This could be fun. I like the lineup, and I am curious as to how they even get Bucky to agree to be on this team, but I will take anything with Winter Soldier. I really don't care about how this team differs from the comic team, I don't even know why that matters to people. Although I do wish that they would cut out Julia Dreyfuss and replace her with Zemo.

Meh, didn't mind Pinocchio. It's the same low effort 6 or 7 they did for every other live action re-do.
I didn't see dumbo though, seen every other one.
At least they did no strings, and kept jiminy. Unlike Mulan.

The 1st AC40 was delivered to Emirates Team New Zealand this weekend in Auckland. The intent is this model is to be used as the primary development boat for the next 2 cycles, as well as the main racing boat to be used in the new Youth and Women's Cups. The Men's Cup will still be raced in the larger AC75, but this move should allow teams to experiment a lot more with concepts without completely breaking the bank (by doing such tests on a smaller vessel).
...truth is, its good to be The Defender. ETNZ designed the AC40 that all the other teams will use and they get the 1st one by a pretty big margin. But that's what always made it so hard to defeat The Defenders for the past 140+ years- its set up to their advantage.

Well, crap. I have a friend from childhood who claims that he used to be better than me in Goldeneye (not true), but given that we were never going to meet up in person to play N64 again I got to exist in my own reality as the GOAT of Goldeneye multiplayer.
Now if I play it online I'm going to get schooled by some 12-year-old telling me I'm trash. And on top of that, if I play against my friend one of us is going to have our previous perceptions destroyed. This bodes ill.

Those were in house rules growing up. Oddjob was banned, 1st place picked the next zone, 2nd place picked the weapon family.
I'll always be partial to grenade launchers in The Temple, or proximity mines in The Stack.

My older brother, and our half-Korean friends used to do 4 player versus in Goldeneye.
Sometimes we'd have team fights, but since my brother and Steven were so much better than me and Chris, me and Chris would do silly things.
Like one time they wanted to team play and kick our ***, so I requested to play with Remote Mines. Then me and Chris just went full suicide bomber on them. Just screen watching and waiting for them to close in right on us, and we'd blow us all up.
It annoyed them to no end, and also explosions still take out Oddjob, *** YOU STEVEN! HAHA!

Square takin another L on someshit game I never heard of lol, Babylon's Fall I saw some gameplay of it. It looked really bad. As a game, it failed on almost every front. As a product, it was a full-price title that also included microtransactions and daily login bonuses.
Apparently instead of advertising it they gave it out to a bunch of streamers and TikTokers in the hopes that people would see it and want to buy it themselves. That's a marketing strategy that only works if you're really confident in the product. Not sure if that means Square-Enix was actually confident in Babylon's Fall, or if they really just have no idea what they're doing. My money's on the latter.

For me, I've always wished I could get into the Fire Emblem series. I played through most of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade campaign on a GBA emulator, but never really messed with any of the others and I've always wanted to.
How about you?
I've got two.
First it was Skyrim. I bought it, got the game guide to go with it, had some fun in it for about an hour, and never touched it again.
Next it was the Dark Souls series. I started with Demon Souls because I want to do them in order, but it didn't grab me like I thought it would and I haven't had the willpower to return even though the later games are apparently quite good.
