no but thats a massive part of the game pre abyssea and you are ruining your own experience taking the easy route

I can easily beat that. I spend my gil way too much.
I can't say I havn't done the same thing. Got 3mil a few months back ended up spending about 2mil+ of it on random almost useless items for very specific not used very often PUP sets. :x I may have a problem.
12m: Juogi, 3mil to a friend, Heca cap +1; Armada Hauberk (cost another 13mil, after I used the 12mil, but just tossing it in there!) Mars's ring, Rancor collar before price dropped crafti- OH MY GOD I JUST GOT SHIELD BASHED FOR 1660 DMG. D: MY POOR FACE.
lmao Now that's a shield bash! All that gil makes me /drool though, I've never had more than... about 4mil at one time.

I think it's time to go to bed... Bleh, someone should go to my classes for me tomorrow so I can just stay home and sleep/emo in the corner. XP Night peoples

I wouldn't consider GoV even remotely obscene in terms of exp. Basic math will tell you that a good merit party on birds at LV75 will net you 80-85k exp per hour. GoV is less stressful and that's it.

I had more, spent about 40mil in currency for Amanomurakumo, then sold half of it back cause I let someone talk me into it. :(

I know it's been a while since you guys have been outside of Abyssea, but all non-abyssea mobs give double the exp they used to. 40k was reasonable in a merit party provided you had competent players and a COR, with 15% exp bonus from Sanction. Why would 80k not be reasonable now?
