When we go out eating I can taste margarine just by sniffing the plate, real butter or gtfo, margarine is disgusting. Stick to olive oil as much as possible but some things just need to be prepped with good unhealthy greasy butter.

Olive oil is waaaaaay too overused. Refined tastes funny and virgin has really low smoke point so not great for cooking. I'll do avocado or peanut or sesame if I'm pretending to be "healthy" otherwise butter and bacon grease baby

We use a mixture of extra virgin olive oil and real butter, first bake on high temp with butter (without the eggwhite in it, we call it clarified butter not sure thats the correct word though...beurre clarifié) and if it needs more grease we use olive oil. Big difference in olive oil flavour though.

A friend is jetting me there for advice about some property he wants to buy. I get a free sunshine and coins, he gets free sunshine and pays for my hotel room.

Either way, any day I don't have to suffer 100 degree 80% humidity S.Texas heat is a win for me.
