They're just incredibly mediocre. Mediocre is the only appropriate word that really covers the full scope of X-men movies.

I would expect Disney to do a hard reboot in about 4-5 years. They have already said its going to be a long time till we see the X-Men in the MCU. Franchise is starting over.

felt like a rushed ending to a otherwise (mostly) decent anime (if MCU were an anime)
