lol my parents tell me that all the time since my mom has diabetes. i got tested once already to make them stfu but they still say i have it :P
Depends on what type of diabetes he has, since some forms of diabetes are genetically onset while others are more of an unfortunate case of bad lifestyle choices. Also, the machine must be faulty to have jumped that far--it would never jump in that short amount of time even if you ate a candy bar, so don't panic.

The first test (They got mad at me for it.) I drank a full soda(Root beer, no less.) and had about 8~10 pieces of candy to *** with them so they'd leave me alone. :/ BAD MISTAKE ON MY PART. We used my grandma's machine first(Gave me a 300 something reading) then my aunt's the next day (Gave me a reading of 80~ish?) and tried my grandma's again and it said 320. My aunt's *should* be right since she uses it to take the insolin shots, but meh. D:

Depends, my room is generally 90~100 degrees everyday so I tend to drink a lot of water. I go maybe 4~5 times a day I think? :< I'm really not sure why my grandma's machine keeps spiking me and my aunt's keeps me at a low number.

Sometimes machines are really... finicky. I don't trust mine half the time, mostly go by feeling at this point, XD

It mostly comes down to you peeing so much that you're getting up once or more times in the middle of the night just to pee, coupled with being hungry all the time, and not gaining weight no matter how much you eat.

:o I see--it's kinda harder to deal with later in life, though--changing the way you eat when you're a teen versus when you're just a kid isn't too bad. I just remember being like, "WHY CANT I EAT THIS COOKIE Q_Q???" xD

nononono, by no means it's not supposed to be like AMIGAD U TOTAARRY HAVE DIABEETUS, but you need to have a few more symptoms manifest in order for anyone to diagnose you with diabetes. And even then you need a blood test to confirm it.
