I forget where I told this story, probably in LS, but as a kid I once stepped on a piece of metal and cut my toe to the bone, I was scared shitless of stitches so rather than go to the hospital, I hid the wound and let it heal naturally, doctoring it with peroxide. >.>

I still have that toe, sometimes I use it to scratch itches on the opposite leg when I'm in bed.
