Some not specified time ago Tsahya became subjected to the Aht Urhgan Empire and now the tsahyan people pay heavy taxes to the empire and in general hate the military occupation.
For this reason tsahyan rebels started sending spies to AU. We meet at least two of them in game, one is Yasmeel who is investigating on Naja's relations with the Empire disguised as an aspiring Salaheem mercenary; the other is Mihli.
Mihli was trained since young age as an assassin and was sent to AU disguised as a student of the Walahra Temple. During the time she kills many officers and important people of the Empire(she signs all the murders with a pamama peel to make them understand it's for Tsahya), but her goal is murdering the Empress. However during the time at the temple she manages to make only one single friend, and that is Aphmau, and when she discovers that she is Nashmeira she gives up on her mission and later becomes a spy for the Empire itself, but not against Tsahya(to which she stays loyal not giving up her instigators), but against Far East, Mamook and the lamiae.
Nashmeira later wants her to stop being a ninja and to embrace a more "pure" path ordering her to become a white mage.
The two remain extremely close friends(and Mihli becomes friend with you too if you tell her you won't give her in to authorities).
