First Friday was super fun. Spent a lot more than I intended to, but that's just how it goes. Got lotsa yummy food, drinks, comic books, a cool poro bead thingy, and a few cocktails to top off the evening~

tell me more about the yummy food. i need to get groceries.

Started off with a pretty delicious Philly Cheesesteak. I'd rate that one a 7/10, the peppers and onions were pretty flavorful and had good texture with the perfect amount of mozzarella stringiness to it. Coulda had a bit more steak though.

A bit later I had some fried potato skins/chips with a healthy sprinkle of what I'd presume was ranch seasoning, garlic salt and minced garlic. 8/10, coulda been more generous with the garlic but amazing nonetheless.

After that I had a fruit smoothie which consisted of coconut water, strawberries, mango and pineapple. Tasted alright, but because it was all natural, there was no added sugar, so I got an experience I wasn't expecting, so I'll give that one a 5/10. Fruit combination was pretty decent, but next time I'll make it an ice cream smoothie/milkshake for that extra sweetness.

Finally as the clock shifted over to the new day, I indulged in a margarita smoothie which was absurdly large and cold, but very sweet and delicious. Followed up by a rum and coke at the local pub; which I quickly realized wasn't my kind of scene, so we left and went home.

But not before grabbing a slice of greasy cheese pizza from some hole in the wall place on Freemont St. After those drinks, it tasted more phenomenal than it probably ever was or would be. Alcohol is weird like that. That was easily a 9/10 but would be a 4/10 if sober.

Listening to Sean Paul is so fun, I don't understand anything he says. He could be making up all the words as he goes it would be the same thing!

I forgot how poppy (sp?) Sia has become as of late. I'm still used to her more soulful, alternative voice back when she was featured regularly with Zero 7.
Then again I'm a bit stubborn when it comes to being perceptive and open to newer music :/

Soul sucks anyway, I like her songs.

I don't mind soul; though that was merely an adjective to describe her voice in previous works. Probably a tad inaccurate anyways~
I'm just glad to see her still around and doing stuff, even if it isn't my typical genre of choice.

I woke up 2 hours ago, it's only half past 11 am here.

But I feel like partyin' today! Or maybe not, I dunno. I just have a lot of pent up energy to consume.

I forgot how dramatic the time zone difference was between Italy and America. Anyways, hope you have a lovely day, since yours just started.

Think I'll burn the midnight oil a tad longer tonight though. 2:36AM here~

bring it. i'm not sleepy even though i should be. i'm just doing laundry and letting it get way too cold with the windows being open. there is a creek not far, and i can hear the frogs and such. i set the lights to kind of breathe from light to dark blue.


bar is open, just bring me some food.

I'd bring an original neapolitan pizza, but it might get a lil cold while it crosses the atlantic!
