Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I keep seeing that lady and I don't know who she is.
... It just means that it's LIKE magic. Regardless of magic working or not, it just makes the point stronger.
It was like magic!!! It worked like a charm! (Also used before the 1940s, but that's a cute explanation) Anna Ruthven said: » I keep seeing that lady and I don't know who she is. A more important question in my opinion: What the hell does it matter if Obi Wan has the high ground? How does that make it over?

If I were Anakin (/shudder) and also had some force jumpy power, I'd forego the whole backflip over a guy thing and actually do like a side jump thing to one of Old Ben's sides to continue the fighting action. That way, I'd get to keep my head and my legs!

In one of the books there is a really good scene between Boba Fett and Jaina Solo where Of course that's expanded universe so I have no idea how Disney is handling that concept. Quote: You are a Gray Jedi. A Stray Dog that wanders the line between Light and Dark. Ever questioning both sides and balancing them out as it pleases you. Pretty much what I expected. I always thought it was strange how there are always two sides that are supposed to represent "absolute good" or "absolute evil" when neither side is anything close to that. Playing D&D has helped a lot for me to understand the many shades of grey in this case with alignments like "lawful good" or "chaotic evil." Those I have played with who choose "evil" characters always find themselves in situations where acting characteristically evil is detrimental to their overall goal, and making the "evil" choice is as good as making a stupid one. The same can usually be said for "good" characters. In the end, everyone always ends up being re-aligned into some form of neutral by the DM based on the choices said players have made over time. There really is no such thing as an "evil" person, or a "good" one. I heard it put like this before, though I'm not sure where: No one is ever the same person all the time. We all wear many masks. Edit: Not to be confused with people who are terminally stupid. |
