Youtube Copyright has always been an enormously flawed system. They don't even have a human legal department, it's all done through computers. When a network contacts youtube about removing copyright strikes or enforcing their own copyrights, it's all done through an automated system. Leads to errors and sometimes the inability to get proper legal justification for anything.
Taking down a channel that uploads full, unedited TV Shows and Movies? sure.
Taking down a channel that uses clips of music in 20-60minute long videos and having the entire video, rather than the 30s clip that contains the music, being claimed by someone else? *** stupid.

Yeah, there's been known copyright content trolls for videos, it is severely flawed.
