Wow. So I'm watching an episode of 30 Rock where a character was going to try and commit suicide and Jack yells out, "Gavin! Don't do it! That's at least 15-16 feet!" I'm paraphrasing here, but it got me intrigued. Exactly what height is high enough to be lethal?

So I googled it and found the answer (150 feet to pavement, 250 to water), but more disturbingly, I found this site. It's a professionally done website that has statistics and (frighteningly) a list of suicide methods to try out. Holy ***.

I tell you what, I wouldn't do more than like 15 feet to the ground, tops.

much more than that and I'm pretty sure you'll snap something.
