You need Comcast in order to use netflix to it's 'full' potential.
Thus far, this one *** me up the most:(M'rissi)

This is more meant to be as a series. Only have 2 pages so far though. I think it's coming along nicely. It's my first take at a more futuristic narrative that kind of conforms to some realism. Taking a short break at the moment though. Time to get to level 60 finally, lol. I only got the 58 last night and got tired. You got it started, and that's step one. One of the biggest issues (I've seen personally) is keeping it going. I've got one that I started years ago that's sitting at about 14,000 words that frankly was a lot of fun to write, but I just don't have the time or I guess the motivation to keep it going, right now.
Just stick wit' it, man! You never know what would come out of it. 2 pages is singled spaced btw, size 12, etc. Well actually over 2 now.
I approach my stories from a very different angle. It's starts of with a type of philosophy. Then I read a little bit of history to get an idea of the type of characters I want. This one in particular though is more of a constant in the dark, but give the reader just enough to get an idea of what's going on. For this one finding a good setting was key. I ended up reading some Canadian history for this one. And had to refresh myself on some Descartes. Takes place in the future, end of the 21st century in the ruins of the city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The people that inhabit the place now call their community The Collective of Sault. The character development is different in this one as well. I try to do that based off historic figures and what they would be like in different areas of their time or sometimes mix and match various mythological characters and culturally adjust their backgrounds. This one though I'm going for a more personality based development from how I see them as a piece in a bigger puzzle type thing. EDIT: Working title so far is: 'Adventures in the Aeon of Provenance' Nothing is written in stone though, lol. But I do like the premise, though instead of "Collective of Sault", wouldn't it be easier, make more sense to say the "Sault Collective"? Just tossing some ideas out there really. Also, readers like a character that's at least semi-original, that can be related to by the reader. However, it does sound like a pretty good mystery starter, and already has my attention Yeah I'm still iffy on the name of the place. I want to make the word 'Collective' akin to a type of government and at the same time to replace the word town or village. So I just kind of left it at that for now.
Once I finish the story of Basile, the first protagonist that's definitely relate-able, I'll let you give it a look. I already know where his story will end up for the time being on this. No idea how long it will be, I don't write in that regard. I just keep going until I feel that piece is done.
