Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
The Baseball coach at my High School went crazy and killed his wife.
Digging out grass in the backyard for a vegetable garden. (its may, its late, wasnt my idea)
and I found a few things Ant colony. Hornets. Half of godzilla and ceramic tiles. ヘ(。□°)ヘ Anna Ruthven said: » The Baseball coach at my High School went crazy and killed his wife. When we did China, I had people come pick up me up in rickshaw for a week and everyone had a good laugh while I cut class in plain view. We always had excuses prepared, but he didn't mind, or care. Just went to the computer lab and played on the macs. I'm having a feeling we study more than you here. If your history classes start from such a late period that's a very low volume...makes me wonder about the other subjects.

If your history classes start from such a late period that's a very low volume...makes me wonder about the other subjects. real history started in 4th grade for me and covered all of the american history before going into things like WWI, WWII, etc. and briefly touching on the history of countries involved. real world history didn't start until 9, though. everything before 4th was about stuff like pilgrims... a majority of my grade 4~8 studies were foreign languages and english composition along with math and science since history was basically all american history for a majority of it, meaning most was rehashed. because i was in orchestra and was taking more science-driven extra classes in middle school, I never got to take mythology or ancient histories or anything like that. For us it's cyclical. Prehistory to contemporary in elementary. Again, but more indepth in middle, and once again in hs in an even more detailed manner.
History wasn't a focal point. I made math and computer programming the focal point for me. If you didn't know what your strong points were, then you were screwed. Or got screwed as the kids say.
Very few people actually made it to college and even less actually graduated. I doubled up on math freshman year. Only problem was Algebra II and Geometry was full of people from upper classes on the football team and dumb people. Charged them money to do their homework, etc. I really didn't learn anything until Trigonometry. I think that was the first class where I had to pay attention and learned a lot. I didn't get into calc until college. High school AP calc was easy, but not interesting enough for me. It took a professor from China to get me into calculus and probability theories. Had him for a lot of math classes in college too. I was actually kinda lucky, because not only did my school have its fully funded orchestra, but I was also able to take Astronomy and stuff because we had a complete functioning planetarium. The one with the massive dome room and huuuuuuge projector in the middle. So I took classes like those even though I did want to take Mythology and whatnot, but I didn't get enough class slots to pick them. In high school I had to start working on medical credits so I took things like allied health sciences and stuff and still didn't get to do mythology. ):

it was actually kinda badass. the uniform looked cool and later on we started working with the drill rifles. walking through the school in formation handling rifles, lul. i still have my medals, ribbons, and chevrons somewhere. History here is heavy in all kind of schools. We have a few hs ramifications, but they're about different subjects. In all literature, math, science(bio, chem, natural science, physics), phylosophy, history, art history and english are studied equally. As for the rest, I'll spoiler for those who care..
edit: of course we all get physical education too, but only rich schools actually offer sport teams. Hell, we have no clubs even. can't look away... like waiting for something to happen but never does...

Made some fajitas on the grill... little steak and a little chicken~ Got a red pepper, a green pepper, and an onion, stirred it all up with some butter in a skillet~ Om nom nom. Mom made salsa to go with chips, and Mojitos later~ Ah Smoothmcgroove, talented man.
today is just a normal day in my house. you silly white people.
All I know about Cinco de Mayo is, I need to stay indoors.
Oh having a lovely day...
Gotta love when the police show up at your door, because the idiots that live below you are complaining about a 1 year old running around. Not sure what Revenge of the Fifth day has anything to do with being white! :p

I think it's funny when they try to do a cheap car mod. I will say doing this is fun but after doing several Civics, the older the car, the more dangerous things can get. I had a complete brake failure on a '96 DX, thank god I was already slowing down at an intersection but still had to hit the curb to stop the vehicle. Completely forgot about all the ground and pound will ruin something eventually. Did the engine swap, clutch, cross drilled rotors, new pads, new rims/tires, the little *** (short ram air, short shifter, cluster, etc.etc.) but never did the brake lines. I know alot of people won't, but this comes to a number one priority with me now. ![]() I give you the Gremalibur; part AMC Gremlin, part Excalibur. |
