was able to retain nearly lossless quality on these from the mkv of the anime
...but they're almost 4MB each. clearly what we need here is a more efficient gif compression didnt make them for avatars, but signature parts. originally they were supposed to be bigger, but this is as big as i can make them without exceeding bgbucket's 5mb limit. had to cut out half the frames or they'd be ridiculously huge, too, so they're moving at 200% speed
managed to slow it down and cut file size by a smidgen, but blowing it up to a larger size would require me recapturing the video file I used to make the original, and I am way too lazy for that. I love how productive I can be when I'm supposed to be doing something else. Made 4 new gifs out of the DBO opening when I should be working on my game instead.
Maybe if I find something more important to do than the game, I'll actually get some of the game done. ._.; Ugh was leveling Behemoth in peace on XI then people ruined it >_>
what parts?

I'm jelly though, I wish I had 2.5k to blow on a PC, as my desktop is more than maxed out, I'd probably invest in a third monitor and possibly get an official server.
I really don't need any hardware right now, but I want to build something... That being said, I'm having one hell of a time trying to set up file sharing on my linux box to use it from my windows pc. Half tempted to just dualboot with Debian and be done with it... Valefor.Prothescar said: » good thing about a physical place like fry's is, sure you may pay more, but if something is DoA it's a lot easier to get it replaced I've ordered thousands of dollars of electronics from Amazon and yet have had a problem... It's not really my concern, and I guess I'd worry about that if I were in a hurry, but I'm not. I just don't think it's worth the markup, but I guess I'm a cheapass. I understand the mindset though, to each their own. Don't have a place like that around here though, the last PC shop closed too, I think the closest one may be the next city over... yeah i don't have a microcenter or fry's (microcenter being infinitely better) near me, I get all of my parts from newegg, tiger direct, and amazon (depends on who has the cheapest thing), but the feeling you get when you get a bad set of RAM or a bad CPU and the whole PC is stalled for a week until you get the replacement RMA'd sucks, so honestly I'd prolly pay the extra few bucks to be able to exchange more quickly.
kinda hoping i don't have to upgrade any time soon, don't see why I would since, not only is my PC ridiculous already, but engines and software->hardware interface protocols are getting so much more efficient. Unreal 4, for example. maxwell GPUs and broadwell CPUs should be remarkably power efficient (judging by the 750 and 750ti, they take 1/3 the power of kepler/gk110 gpus and overclock extremely well, better than any card so far) and fun to tinker with, but i dunno if they're gonna offer any major leap in performance like it was made out that they would (maxwell having built in APUs to reduce CPU bottlenecking and increasing the efficiency of CPU-bound tasks, would be incredible for MMOs). they're sticking in ARM processors, but who knows how well it will be implemented. if done right I may just sell the 780s and go for an 800 series card since my PC gaming time is predominantly on MMOs and RTS, where you'll get the most out of this sort of thing. I wish they made a PC version of my favorite RTS but meh...
I guess my bias is offset a bit as I haven't had an issue so far. I do like how they're aiming for efficiency on the nextgen stuff, low power consumption is always good, as it means less heat, which is always a good thing. mostly interested to see what kind of performance a 600 or 700 series card has vs 800 series for something like star citizen. although tbh I have so much doubt in RSI's ability to make what they keep claiming they will, if they end up doing it it'll be so ridiculously intensive on both the CPU and GPU.

... ... ... ...by trying to figure out whether to play path of exile or dark souls 2. was thinking that but i'm kinda mad at the game now. it keeps throwing me vaal gems that I have no use for and equipment that I can't equip.
