Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Hey, if ya want to be noticed in town, no better way than naked. =P
I just watched Black Swan... just woah.
I love Darren Aronofsky. All of his movies are about obsession, but he does it so well and so uniquely that each movie stands apart. Fenrir.Weakness said: » I just watched Black Swan... just woah. I didn't like it...I had reasons but I don't remember much about the movie anymore other than I was really let down. I agree with Daus. It had potential but it just failed to nail it. :x
how do you deal with wisdom tooth pain?
Getting them removed, or oral medicine to numb such pain.
Or that's pretty much what I've seen most commonly amongst victims of the dreaded...wisdom teeth! Anywaaaay, going to sleep, good night. i don't think i can afford a dentist
The best thing I can tell you is to get oral medicine then, to numb the pain as much as you can, because I don't know any other way personally to deal with it.
whiskey. only need a drop or two. it's a temporary solution but it works
well i certainly can't get whiskey
What sort of pain? I've had an infections that made my face swell up
well it's a constant, not always hurting pain in the back of my mouth. and i can see the tooth coming in, so i know it's wisdom tooth and not a cavity. it usually hurts the most when i'm trying to lay down for sleep but normally just an ibuprofen makes it go away to sleep but tonight it's just really bad and pain killers aren't helping at all
Well if it's because they're coming in, I have no idea except to take them out, which isn't an option. Sorry. -Shrug-
use aleeve and get some oragel. it'll numb the gum. not much you can do other than find some narcotic level pain killers or just deal with it.
even if i could afford a dentist it would be at least monday before i can even set an appointment, so no idea when i would even get it pulled
you can't really get it removed until it's fully in. unless it's growing in impacted then you won't have to get it removed at all, they always hurt when they're first growing.
it's basically ripping it's way through your gum. the oragel gives the same effect that novacane has on your gum. it will get you through the weekend.
you could also gargle with warm salt water, that's what I did. i had very mild pain from mine though, they came in extremely early for me, think I was 9 or 10.
it doesn't look impacted, but i can't say for certain
saltwater didn't do anything. even this oxycodone hasn't helped if oxycodone isn't working then I'm really not sure what else you could do, it doesn't get much further than that. just have to try some oragel and hope the numbing works. just gotta soldier through it otherwise; if the pain doesn't stop shortly/by the time the teeth are all the way in you will need to go to a dentist and get them pulled or removed surgically.

It's a long term process, not usually something you can go to the dentist's office and have fixed in one visit. one thing to note, 85% of wisdom teeth are impacted, and impacted teeth can lead to future complications. I know you can find cheap dental insurance plans (like $20 a month) that will do something like cover 50% of dental related expenses, but I don't know whether that applies to oral surgery or how long you need to be on the plan for coverage to apply to major procedures. That's something you'd have to spend some time researching. Another option is you can usually get a consultation for little to no cost. At that time you could discuss with the surgeon a repayment plan in which you pay like $50 a month instead of all the cost upfront, if that could make it more affordable. Good luck.
