& why am I continually drawn to wanting to make costumes for characters that wear heavy armor? At the least I should look into leather clad characters, my sewing machine can handle up to 1/2 inch of denim/leather but metal? Not so much....

I know a lot of people in SCA who have actual sets made from various types of metal and leather.
Either way, my machine would be better suited to do cloth or leather and Worbla is spendy!
Most conventions restrict the use of metal as armor minus small accesories. It's just too dangerous. So most conventions I have met people who make large armor sets use mixtures of worbla/wonderflex and fiber glassing, or using cardboard/evga foam as bases with expanding foam.

I am looking at CS / Modeler / Viewer / Game Play of Annie in LoL for costume inspiration and I see so many people who have made a costume for her but they all vary.

I want to do the basic Annie but there are variations. 100% of the cosplay I have seen so far show a purple dress.
The viewer shows a pleated skirt and puff sleeve shirt with a blue vest over the top.
I *guess* the first/original skin for her was a plain purple dress with embroidery?
I can make an A line pleated skirt easily and I will probably buy a blue vest because I sew, not knit/crochet.

Love sewing, I wish I liked more costumes that could be predominantly sewn -__-
A little trick I found if you run into things you can't make yourself, get a base (buy a blue vest like you said) and just add the details using other means. Usually works out pretty good.

The models and the splash art aren't necessarily exact for many champs at all. I'm going with splash art for any of my choices. It just looks better and has more detail .-.

I haven't put my real name on Twitter or Facebook. I have FB locked down well but whoa unto me if someone finds my twitter.
Last year I was drinking heavily during each political debate and at times tweeted like I was answering for Ryan or Mitt. It was bad. I should just delete twitter.

I need to try new things when I actually have the time. I was thinking about trying supports in November/December. Akali and Riven always looked fun to me, but they looks somewhat complicated at the same time. Good timing...It's a coin toss with me.
