Something about giving yourself some sense of entitlement or higher plane of morality based on a potentially mythological figure, primarily noted from a tome that has been passed down, altered, misinterpreted countless times just seems shady.
Sorry for the religious rant, this is more of a thing against people on high horses regardless of the context.

It's not for no good reason. You have to test to see if you haven't suddenly developed the ability to actually do one. People go throughout their entire lives without even realising they can do it because they never try. You won't fall prey to that.
